•Cloudy- not clear or transparent-अस्पष्ट

•Commit sth- to spend money or time on sth/sb खर्च करना

•Run into sth – to experience difficulties मुश्किल झेलना

•Pledge (v.)- to formally promise to give or do sth - वादा

•Detrimental- harmful, noxious, injurious, pernicious - हानिकारक

•Status quo- the situation as  it is now, or as it was before a recent change – यथा स्थिति(पूर्व जैसी स्थिति)

•Accumulate sth- to gradually get more and more of sth over a period of time- amass इकट्ठा करना(धन इत्यादि)

•Expediency –  मुनाफा

•Catastrophe(n.) – disaster विनाश
